I’m giving up!
That's it – I'm quitting!
I hope I got your attention, because this is an important message about my 2026 plans.
As I write this, there are about 36 hours left in 2025.
Humans everywhere are about to launch into the new year with ambitious goals and resolutions.
Perhaps you’re one of them.
Don’t get me wrong. I love the energy of a fresh start.
BUT … I’m doing something different as we head into 2026
Most people make lists of what they want to ADD to their lives:
Working out more often
Creating more content to share online
Enjoying more date nights and social gatherings
Meditating and journaling more
Cleaning and decluttering the house
And on and on
Nothing wrong with these goals.
But they can lead to overwhelm and exhaustion!
I learned long ago that personal growth is NOT about adding more things to your to-do-list.
What’s often overlooked — and equally powerful — is eliminating things that don’t serve you.
Here are some of my “give up” goals for 2026 — things I will stop doing or cut way back on:
Making unhealthy food choices
Sitting at the computer for more than 90 minutes at a time
Mindlessly scrolling social media and losing track of time
Choosing to watch TV instead of having a conversation with another human
Eating a snack instead of taking a walk
Removing the obstacles that don’t serve you creates room for some of those new things you want to add.
Just add stuff in moderation. Give yourself space to breathe.
So, what are your “give up goals” for 2026?

Wishing you the best. Happy New Year!

YES! It's time to release anything that no longer serves me - BEFORE dragging it with me into 2026!! I want to sail into this coming "1 Year" with the least amount of resistance I can 🫙✨
Happy New Year, Bob. The biggest thing I'm leaving behind is the constant need to do more. As I was focusing on what I want for 2026, these words kept coming up, Soften and Flow.
